KUTZTOWN, Pa. -- For the first and final time this indoor season, the Kutztown University women's track and field team participated in events on home turf as a part of the Kutztown Last Chance Meet at the O'Pake Fieldhouse Friday evening.

The day was highlighted with three Golden Bears setting top ten all-time marks in their respective events and five hitting PSAC marks. KU also won seven of the 12 events that it participated in.

Sophomore Kacie Sienko (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) shined on the day for KU. The Langhorne, Pa. native won the high jump and triple jump, hitting PSAC marks in both. Her 10.94-meter performance in the triple jump is tied for the ninth-best mark in program history.

Brianna Foster (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley Park) and Haleigh Davis (Morgantown, Pa./Twin Valley) dominated the long jump for KU, both hitting PSAC marks and entering KU's top ten list in the event. Foster's 5.50-meter jump is tied for the fourth-best in KU history, with Davis' 5.38-meter mark being the tenth-best in program history. 

KU's other PSAC mark came from Deandra Young (East Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) in the 800 meters, with a time of 2:24.66. Erika Moriarty (Kutztown, Pa./Kutztown), Jaidah Mitchell (Pemberton, N.J./Pemberton Township), Kiana Young (East Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg), Foster, and Sienko were the Golden Bears to take home first place in their respective events.

KU now turns its attention to the postseason. The Golden Bears travel to Bucknell next weekend, Feb. 25 and 26, to take part in the PSAC Indoor Championships.
