STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Raechel Bonner (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin), Myah Davies (New Market, Md./Linganore), and Haylee Edwards (Mohnton, Pa./Twin Valley) turned in top ten all-time program record performances at the Gotham Cup, hosted at the Ocean Breeze Track and Field Facility, Friday afternoon in Staten Island.

On the track side, Raechel Bonner (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) finished fourth in the 500 meters with a time of 1:18.26. It was the junior's best career time in the event and the second-fastest time in school history. The other notable performance on the track came from the foursome of Bonner, Ava Bendetti (Breinigsville, Pa./Parkland), Anastasia Fratanduono (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan), and Colleen Gilbert (Willow Street, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) in the distance medley relay. They finished third in the event with a time of 12:44.73.

On the field, the Golden Bears thrived in the pole vault, high jump, and long jump. Myah Davies (New Market, Md./Linganore) and Haylee Edwards (Mohnton, Pa./Twin Valley) stole the show in the pole vault, finishing second and fourth respectively in the event. Davies' cleared the bar at 3.66 meters, which was the third-best performance in program history, while Edwards' 3.51-meter jump was the ninth-best in KU history. Both earned PSAC qualifying marks.

Mia Grassia (Bay Shore, N.Y./Bay Shore) (1.55 meters) and Kacie Sienko (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) (1.55 meters) both earned PSAC marks in the high jump, finishing second and fourth in the event. KU's other PSAC finisher was Brianna Foster (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley Park). The Ridley Park, Pa. native finished third in the long jump with a 5.29-meter jump.

The Golden Bears have a quick turnaround, taking part in the Bison Open and Multi at Bucknell next weekend. KU will compete in events on Friday and Saturday.
