KUTZTOWN, Pa. -- Gracie McKee (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) captured the 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard breaststroke, 200-yard individual medley and was part of the victorious 200-yard freestyle relay team, helping the Kutztown University women's swim team to a 147-112 win over PSAC rival East Stroudsburg in its first dual back from the holiday break Saturday at the Keystone Natatorium.

McKee bested PSAC cut times in all three of her individual event wins against the Warriors, though she had previously qualified in all three earlier this season. The Boyertown, Pa., native took the 100 back by more than six seconds in a time of 1:00.52. McKee then closed out the meet with three consecutive wins.

In the 100 fly, McKee was the lone swimmer to break one minute, finishing in 59.66. She got right back to it in the 200 IM, leading a 1-2-3 finish for the Golden Bears (5-5) with a time of 2:15.57. Jade Ware (Easton, Pa./Wilson Area) was second in 2:24.56 and Keara Bedson (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa), who was honored along with McKee on Senior Day, took third in 2:30.67.

McKee finished the day by anchoring the winning 200 free relay team. She was joined by Frannie Pease-Wingenter (Goodyear, Ariz./Millennium), Annamarie Rodier (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) and Natasha Sheehy (Tempe, Australia/MLC School) in putting down a 1:44.35.

The talented freshmen duo of Rodier and Sheehy won three times apiece. In addition to their work on the 200 free relay team, Rodier once again set PSAC times in claiming the 1000 free (11:04.63) and 500 free (5:26.64), while Sheehy won the 200 free (2:04.50) and 200 back (2:20.51).

Ware notched a PSAC qualifying time in a runner-up effort in the 200 breast (2:36.14). It was one of four second-place finishes on the day for the sophomore from Easton, Pa. She also was second in the 200 medley relay (2:01.89), 100 breast (1:12.71) and 200 IM.

Joining Ware on KU's runner-up 200 medley relay were Paige Heck (Dauphin, Pa./Central Dauphin), Jaylin Calistro (Temple, N.H./Contoocook Valley Regional) and Pease-Wingenter. Kutztown also received runner-up finishes from Ainsley Fischer (Newark, Del./Delaware Military Academy) in the 200 free, Calistro in the 200 fly, Pease-Wingenter in the 50 free, Rodier in the 100 free (PSAC qualifying time) and Olivia Bing (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) in the 500 free.

Kutztown has two more head-to-head battles ahead before turning its focus to the PSAC Championships. The Golden Bears travel to Lock Haven next Saturday for a 1 p.m. start.
