LANCASTER, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's swim team concluded its three-day competition in the Franklin & Marshall Invitational on Sunday with a pair of swimmers earn Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifying times in Gracie McKee (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) and Jocelyn Seidt (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson), and six other Golden Bears earned season-best times.
 
McKee's time of 2:03.83 in the 200 backstroke in the preliminary round earned her the top seed in the final and was also good for third all-time in program history. Seidt was the other Golden Bear that recorded a PSAC cut time, finishing the 200 back in 2:16.24. McKee, Seidt and Emmarose DeCaro (Apex, N.C./Apex) qualified for the final of the event.
 
McKee, Keelie Walker (York, Pa./York Suburban), Jade Ware (Easton, Pa./Wilson Area) and Ainsley Fischer (Newark, Del./Delaware Military Academy) swam as the top KU team in the 400 Free relay, finishing 13th overall out of a deep field. DeCaro, Walker, Fischer, Ware, Keara Bedson (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa) and Jaylin Calistro (Temple, N.H./Contoocook Valley Regional) all swam to season-best times in their respective events Sunday.

KU finished eighth overall in the team standings.
 
Kutztown will take off from the pool for the rest of the winter semester and reconvene for its next meet on Friday, Jan. 14, at California (PA).
