Kutztown did not want to end its day on a losing streak. It made sure of it from the start as the Golden Bears were victorious in the first five bouts and six of the first seven. The opening five wins for KU were all decisions as Renne, Wickramaratna, Camp, Albergo and Cusick all earned victories.
Reed Custer (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus) then contributed a decision of his own at 174. The Senators were victorious at 187 and 194, but Dunn Jr. capped the Duals with a forfeit victory, his second of the day.
