KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Three Golden Bears won both of their matches Thursday to lead the Kutztown University men's tennis team to a 7-2 win over West Chester University in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action from the Keystone Courts.
 
Martin Munoz (Las Palmas, Spain/Claret (Post)) won in tiebreakers at No. 1 singles. He opened with a 6-2 win, dropped the second set 6-4, and fought back to win 10-5 in the final frame. Munoz also won at No. 3 doubles with teammate 
David Nunez Contreras (Madrid, Spain/Mater Immaculata), 8-2.
 
Nolan Perugini (Reading, Pa./Exeter Township), the reigning PSAC Athlete of the Week, won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 3 singles. He teamed with 
Josh Carl (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) at No. 2 doubles for an 8-3 win. Carl also won in singles action - 6-4, 6-3 at the fifth flight.
 
Senior 
Joan Oliver Perez (Andratx, Spain/IES Baltasar Porcel) won in straight sets at No. 4 singles (6-3, 6-0), as did fellow senior 
Gabriel Nogara Souza (Curitiba, Brazil/Dom Bosco) at the sixth flight (6-1, 6-1).
 
Kutztown (6-3, 2-2 PSAC) returns to action on Sunday, April 8, on the road at Roberts Wesleyan for a 12 p.m. start.
