Complete Game Notes

SERIES HISTORY: Saturday marks the 70th meeting between Kutztown and Bloomsburg, tied for the second-longest rivalry in school history. Bloomsburg has won the last four matchups, including last year's 27-21 final in overtime at Bloomsburg. Kutztown's last win in the series came in 2011, a 52-14 win at University Field that earned KU the Eastern Division title. The win over Bloomsburg was Kutztown's first since 1992.

LAST WEEK: With the game on the line, the Kutztown University defense held its ground and sacked West Chester University for the fourth time of the night to cap a dramatic 20-14 victory for the Golden Bears on a rainy Saturday night to defeat the defending PSAC Eastern Division champions. It was KU head coach Jim Clements' first career win over West Chester.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Kellen Williams (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg) gave KU its second consecutive PSAC East Offensive Athlete of the Week award this week - his second career weekly honor. In addition to catching six passes for 141 yards, Williams had two highlight-reel touchdown receptions of 49 and 39 yards on back-to-back drives. Career touchdowns number 27 and 28 for the co-captain, he is now just one shy of tying the school record held by Kodi Reed (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic).

100-YARD RECEIVER: It took KU five games to record a 100-yard receiver this season - the longest stretch to open a season for KU since 2009 (8 games).

SACK LUNCH: Kutztown averages 4.40 sacks per game, second in the PSAC, sixth in Division II, and second-most in school history behind a record 4.7 per game in 1985. KU has had eight and nine sacks in a game this season, both in the top-four in KU single-game history.

RUSHING ATTACK: Kutztown ranks fourth in the PSAC at 200.4 rushing yards per game. KU has run for more yards than it has passed in 3-of-5 games this season.

MOVING FORWARD: Kutztown has rushed for 100 or more yards in 13 straight games, dating back to 2015. Under head coach Jim Clements, KU is 13-6 when rushing for triple-digit yardage.

THE REYNOLDS RAP: Craig Reynolds (Willow Grove, Pa./Abington) has run for 538 yards and eight touchdowns this season. At 107.6 yards-per-game, he is currently 1-of-8 players in school history to average 100 or more rushing yards in a season and the first since 2001. Reynolds ranks third in the PSAC in rushing touchdowns (8) and fourth in yards (538).

100-YARD RUNNER: Craig Reynolds (Willow Grove, Pa./Abington) averages 107.6 rushing yards per game, 1-of-6 players in the PSAC to currently average 100+ per game. He posted three straight 100-yard games earlier this season, a first for KU since 2001.

BIG PLAY ABILITY: Craig Reynolds (Willow Grove, Pa./Abington) has a team-high 10 plays of 20 yards or more this year, nine runs and one catch.

LEAVING A LEGACY: Kellen Williams (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg) has a chance to rewrite the KU record books in his senior season. He ranks second all-time at KU with 28 career receiving touchdowns and 2,496 receiving yards, and third with 177 catches.

KELLEN'S CORNER: Kellen Williams (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg), a two-time All-PSAC East wide receiver, ranks fourth among active Division II players in career receiving touchdowns, seventh in receiving yards and 10th in receptions. He has six touchdowns this season - second in the PSAC - and has caught a pass in 33-of-37 career games.

DEFENSIVE LEADER: Zack Delp (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) has made a team-high 28 consecutive starts at linebacker for KU. A two-time All-PSAC selection, Delp has notched 10 or more tackles in 11 games in his career, including twice this season. He ranks second on KU with 42 tackles this season, ninth in the PSAC at 8.4 per game, and ranks 11th all-time at KU with 247 career tackles and 13th with 13.0 sacks.
22677
APPROACHING 250: Senior linebacker Zack Delp (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) is approaching 250 career tackles. He enters the weekend with 247, 11th in school history, and three tackles to 250 would move him into 10th in KU history.

SENSATIONAL SOPHOMORE: Tajier Jefferson (East Orange, N.J./Queen of Peace), the returning PSAC East Freshman of the Year, leads KU with 44 tackles. He has four career 10+ tackle games and ranks fifth in the PSAC at 8.8 per game. Last year, he had 70 tackles in his first year on the field, the most by a KU freshman in more than 20 years, and ranked in the top-five in the PSAC with 16 TFL.

LINEBACKER DUO: Zack Delp (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) and Tajier Jefferson (East Orange, N.J./Queen of Peace) have the most combined tackles of any linebacker duo in the PSAC with 86.

NEW STARTING QB: Since taking over at quarterback in the middle of Week 3, Collin DiGalbo (Secane, Pa./Monsignor Bonner) has averaged 211 passing yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions. The redshirt-freshman ranks fourth in the PSAC in completion percentage (.608) and fifth in passing efficiency (139.7).

PART-IN ME: Troy Parton (Allentown, Pa./Salisbury) ranks fourth in the PSAC with 6.4 receptions per game, highlighted by a career-high 15 catches against Mercyhurst, two shy off the school-record.

PERRY'S PICKS: Jake Perry (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) co-leads the PSAC with a career-high three interceptions. He is 1-of-3 players in the PSAC with three interceptions and ranks 15th in Division II at 0.6 per game.

INTERCEPTIONS: Kutztown has seven interceptions through five games after having six all of last season.

BLOCKING THE BLOCKERS: After allowing four blocked punts in the first two weeks, KU has improved its coverage with none in the last three weeks. However, KU's four blocked punts allowed remain tied for the most in the NCAA this season, across all divisions.

MAGIC NUMBER = 24: KU head coach Jim Clements is 12-1 in his Kutztown career when holding opponents to 24 or fewer points. His only loss was to Mercyhurst earlier this season (L, 19-23).

STOPPING THE RUN: KU's success under second-year head coach Jim Clements has stood true with its defensive ability to stop the run. Under Clements, KU is 9-1 when holding its opponent to less than 100 yards rushing. His only loss was to Mercyhurst earlier this year.

SEASONED VETERANS: Offensive linemen Jordan Morgan (Philadelphia, Pa./Parkway Northwest), Ben Cregger (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove), Brian Robbins (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) and Skyler Panchari (Pottsville, Pa./Blue Mountain) are all returning starters. Combined, they have played in 121 career games.

STARTING CENTER: Junior Ben Cregger (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove) has made 27 consecutive starts at center, the longest streak of any lineman for Kutztown.

TEAM CAPTAINS: Kutztown's team captains for the 2016 season are Zack Delp (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall), Jordan Morgan (Philadelphia, Pa./Parkway Northwest) and Kellen Williams (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg).

EARLY LEAD: Kutztown has led at halftime in 19 of its last 20 wins.

SENIOR RB DUO: Senior running backs Darrell Scott (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone) and James Wah Jr. (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) are in the midst of their senior seasons. Having split carries for most of their careers, the duo has combined for 2,657 career rushing yards and 22 touchdowns to go along with 65 combined games of experience.

ALL-AMERICAN TACKLE: Returning All-American Jordan Morgan (Philadelphia, Pa./Parkway Northwest) has only missed one game in his career and has started at left tackle in 37 of KU's last 38 games, including a streak of 18 consecutive starts. His top honor last year was the AP Little All-America First Team, KU's first First Team selection since John Mobley in 1995. Morgan was a consensus Preseason All-American this year.
