LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's swimming team won the final five events and won 10 of 14 overall on Saturday in a 162-100 dual meet victory over Lock Haven University.
 
Freshman Claire Frank (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus) won four events in Kutztown's return to action from its winter break trip to Florida. She opened the day as the final leg of the winning 200-medley relay team and went on to win three more individual events. She won the 50-free in a season-best mark of 25.67 seconds and the 200-IM in 2:18.71, both in an existing conference-qualifying time. Her remaining win came in the 200-free.
 
Katerina Parowski (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) won the 1000-free in 11:59.81 and swam the first leg of KU's winning 200-free relay team to end the meet. She also finished second in the 100-free.
 
Gab Louden (Crum Lynne, Pa./Ridley) opened her season on Saturday with a win in the 500-free at 5:35.11 and a third-place finish in the 200-free in 2:07.15.
 
Bridget Perdoch (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) won the 100- and 200-breast. Her mark in the 100 came in 1:12.03, followed by a time of 2:37.21 in the 200, an existing Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC)-qualifying mark.
 
Kara Jones (Greencastle, Pa./James Buchanan) won the 100-fly in 1:04.22, the 200-fly in 2:24.31, and was part of both of KU's winning relay teams.
 
As a team, five existing PSAC marks were posted. Along with Perdoch and Frank, Madi Bleiler (Dillsburg, Pa./Northern) finished second in the 100-back in a PSAC time of 1:03.25. She also finished second in the 200-back and was the lead in KU's winning 200-medley relay team and the third-leg of the winning 200-free relay team.
 
Kutztown returns to Keystone Hall for its next and final two home meets of the season. KU hosts Millersville University on Saturday, Jan. 23 beginning at 1 p.m. at Keystone Pool.
