YORK, Pa. -- The 200-yard medley relay team of Phoebe Armes (Somerset, UK/Millfield School), Tatum Rothermel (Halifax, Pa./Halifax), Sarah Zeminski (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) and Ana Soto (Hamburg, N.J./Vernon Township) set the fourth-fastest time in school history with a 1:48.88 and the Kutztown University women's swim team sent five individuals to the finals on Friday at the PSAC Championships.

Kutztown maintained its spot in the upper half of the team standings, showing sixth with 417 points heading into Saturday's final day of competition.

The 200 medley relay team came within 1.4 seconds of the school record on its way to a ninth-place finish. Armes led off by taking the backstroke, followed by Rothermel in the breaststroke, Zeminski in the butterfly and Soto anchored with the freestyle.

Zeminski continued her outstanding meet by qualifying for two more Championship Finals. The sophomore from West Chester, Pa., won a silver medal and set a school record in the 100 fly on Thursday and registered her third and fourth top-eight event finishes with eighth-place efforts in the 500 free (5:17.59) and 200 fly (2:10.78).

Julia Kopcho (Pemberton, N.J./Camden Catholic) placed 12th in the 500 free (5:12.24) and Annamarie Rodier (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) dropped almost seven seconds from her prelims time to win the C Final (17th overall) in the fastest time turned in by any Golden Bear in the event on Friday (5:09.58).

Rothermel qualified for the C Final in the 100 breast, finishing 22nd (1:08.50).

KU returns to the Graham Aquatic Center to close out the 2026 PSAC Championships on Saturday. Events on the final day include the 1650 free, 100 free, 200 back, 200 breast and 400 free relay.
