Box Score KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University men's tennis team took a break from conference competition on Wednesday and took down Harford Community College 9-0 at home at the Keystone Courts.
The Golden Bears (8-3) swept the six singles matches in straight sets.
Joan Oliver Perez, the current Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Athlete of the Week, and
Gabriel Nogara Souza did not allow a game against them in their singles contests, as
Varun Desai,
Matt Maguire,
Rich Lichtenwalner and
David Nunez Contreras also won in two sets.
In doubles play, Linchtenwalner and Maguire won at the top flight 8-4, Desai and
Ken Beebe won 8-4 at the second flight, and Nogara Souza and
Indi Reverte teamed up to win 8-2 at the third flight.
