YORK, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's swimming team had six swimmers in action on Sunday and featured some career-best swims on the final day of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships at the Graham Aquatic Center at the York YMCA.

As a team, the Golden Bears finished 12th as a team with 71 points. They remained in 12th throughout all four days on the championships.
 
Junior Caitlin Davies (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) improved on her sixth-best time in school history in the 100-free and finished in 53.41 seconds for 18th overall. She teamed up with senior Zoe Sianis (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing) in the event, who also had a career-best finish. Sianis moved into 10th all-time for her time of 54.79 seconds that landed her 33rd overall at the conference championships.

Kutztown's 400-free relay team swam into the record books with the eighth-best time in school history. The quartet of Davies, Jessica Bleiler (Dillsburg, Pa./Northern), Elizabeth Metz (Rosemont, Pa./Radnor), and Sianis finished 10th overall in 3:37.59. 
 
Natalie Carr (Exeter, Pa./Wyoming Area) competed in the 200-breast on Sunday morning, and finished 24th in 2:36.40. Metz finished 14th overall in the 1650-free in 17:52.49.
 
Sophomore Samantha Scialpi (West Pittston, Pa./Pittston) posted a mark of 2:19.70 in a solo 200-back time trial, but missed the finals cut.
