EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's swimming team competed in the four-team, East Stroudsburg Invite on Saturday afternoon at Koehler Fieldhouse to conclude the regular-season schedule.
 
Kutztown (3-3) was led by senior Elizabeth Metz (Rosemont, Pa./Radnor), who swam the 200-IM for the first time in her collegiate career and took home gold in 2:20.37.
 
Both Caitlin Davies (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) and Caitlyn Falguera (Hatboro, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) took third place on Saturday. Davies swam the 50-free in 25.01 with a qualifying mark and Falguera placed third in the 200-back.
 
Zoe Sianis (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing) raced the 200-free for the first time this season, finishing in fourth place (2:03.47). Jessica Bleiler (Dillsburg, Pa./Northern) did the same in the 200-back for eighth place (1:07.68).

KU's final action of the season will come at the PSAC Championships on February 20-23 in York, Pa.
 
The Maroon and Gold with be represented by five swimmers in the Championships, led by Metz qualifying in four events (200, 500, 1000, & 1650- free).
 
Bleiler (100, 200- fly & 50-free) and Davies (50, 100, & 200- free) will compete in three events, while Sianis qualified in the 100 & 200-fly and Natalie Carr (Exeter, Pa./Wyoming Area) qualified in the 100-breast.
