Golden Bears Compete in Second Straight Day of Action

Results

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The Kutztown University women's swimming team was coming off a hard-fought meet on Friday night in which it competed for the win up to the final event. It hit the road and dove back in the water at LIU Post on Saturday, but dropped a 132-110 decision.

Caitlin Davies (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) placed in two competed events. She finished second in the 200-free in 2:02.90, and was also second in the 100-free in an existing conference-qualifying time of 55.90.

Freshman Madi Bleiler (Dillsburg, Pa./Northern) also posted an existing conference cut, as hers came in a second place finish in the 200-back (2:17.57).

Bridget Perdoch (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) (100 Breast) and Zoe Sianis (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing Area) (200 Fly) also finished second in their respective events.

The Golden Bears return to action next weekend, when they travel to Juniata College on Saturday, Nov. 15 for a dual meet beginning at 1 p.m.
