KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Falling behind after an early first-half run, the Kutztown University women's basketball team dropped a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division matchup to Bloomsburg University Saturday afternoon, 74-56, from Keystone Arena in Kutztown.

Kutztown (6-12, 3-5 PSAC E) was even with Bloomsburg (15-3, 6-2 PSAC E) for the first eight minutes of the game. The Huskies then fired off a 21-6 run lasting 9:19 to open up a 15-point lead (32-17) as halftime neared.

A 16-4 run by Bloomsburg to commence the second half even further doomed the Golden Bears' hopes, as the home team continued to struggle controlling the ball. KU coughed up 28 turnovers in the defeat, the most this season since the squad's second game of the season against Glenville State.

Advia Campbell (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) either led or tied for the lead in just about every statistical category for the Maroon and Gold with 14 points, six rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and two steals, but did miss all three attempts from the charity stripe. Jess Harvey (Barnegat, N.J./Rumson Fair-Haven Regional) also scored in double-figures, finishing with 11 points and four boards.

Kelsey Watson (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) quietly had a solid game for KU, not missing an attempt all day. The freshman finished 2-for-2 from the field and 4-for-4 from the free-throw line for eight points. Natalya Lee (Feasterville, Pa./Rancocas Valley Regional) also added eight points with five boards.

The Huskies had 11 different players light up the scoreboard with three hitting double-digits. Adreana Sadowski led all scorers with 15, Brianna Dudceck recorded 13 points on 4-for-5 shooting, and Catherine Noack added 12 points and six assists.

Kutztown will have a week off until next Saturday, Feb. 1, traveling to East Stroudsburg for a 1 p.m. tipoff.
