BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's tennis team wrapped up this weekend's action Sunday afternoon at the Bloomsburg Invitational.
Junior
Hannah Pipkin (Landisville, Pa./Hempfield) and sophomore
Chelsea Davis (Spring City, Pa./Spring-Ford) were the only Golden Bears to secure victories on the day, both over Wilkes opponents. Pipkin took down Kendra Croker 6-4, 6-3 and Davis defeated Anastasia English in a super-breaker, 6-7 (6), 6-1, 10-5. Pipkin and Davis each grabbed a singles win during the first round of competition.
KU did not win any doubles matches in the final round.
Kutztown takes on Mercyhurst at home on Friday, Oct. 4, scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
