MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Kutztown University men's tennis team went on the road and stayed undefeated in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action with an 8-1 victory at Millersville.

The Golden Bears (5-4, 2-0 PSAC) swept the three doubles matches and picked up five of the six points in singles action.
At first doubles,
Varun Desai (Mumbai, India/K.C. College) (Bombay, India/K.C. College) and
Parth Girme (Pune, India/B.M.C.C.) (Pune, India/B.M.C.C.) downed Preetham Moras and Jody Sambrick 8-6.
Darren Krout (Gordonville, PA/Pequea Valley) (Gordonville, Pa./Pequea Valley) and
Bilawal Suri (Kolkata, India/Calcutta International) (Kolkata, India/Calcutta International School) won by the same score at third doubles against Tyler Lied and Kevin Tran. At second doubles,
Rushi Amin (Orefield, PA/Lake Brantley) (Allentown, Pa./Lake Brantley) and
Matthew Maguire (Centurion, South Africa/Tuks Sports School) scored an 8-3 victory over Henry Ben and Corey Garnier.
KU then took second through fifth singles to ice the victory.
Amin beat Ben 6-2, 6-3 at second singles, one of two Kutztown wins in straight sets. Girme dropped just one game in a dominating win over Tucker Mertz at fifth singles.
Maguire needed three sets to edge Sambrick 7-6, 2-6, 6-3 at fourth singles.
Ben Nace (Spring Grove, Pa./Delone Catholic) (Spring Grove, Pa./Delone Catholic) was a three set winner over Garnier, 4-6, 6-1, 10-6.
The sixth singles match was played as a pro set with the team scoring sealed up for KU and Krout picked up an 8-1 victory over Lied.
Millersville's (1-7, 0-2 PSAC) lone point came at first singles.
The Golden Bears stay on the road for a match at Bloomsburg on April 10.
