HILTON HEAD, S.C. - In a match marred by rain, Kutztown dropped a 6-0 final to Missouri Valley College on the team's spring break trip.

Matches at first, fourth and fifth singles were unable to be completed and the remainder of the singles play utilized pro sets.

In doubles, Matthew Maguire (Centurion, South Africa/Tuks Sport School) and Varun Desai (Mumbai, India/K.C. College) (Bombay, India/K.C. College) battled and fell just 9-7 to Wesley Ng and Brock Hughes.

Rushi Amin (Orefield, PA/Lake Brantley) (Allentown, Pa./Lake Brantley) was tied at first singles with Jason Rolle 5-5 when play was suspended and Ben Nace (Spring Grove, Pa./Delone Catholic) (Spring Grove, Pa./Delone Catholic) was leading Gilberto Machado 6-4 at fifth singles.

The Golden Bears will hope for better luck against Edgewood on Wednesday, March 14 in Hilton Head at 3 p.m.
