Kristen Slack (Royersford, PA/Spring-Ford) (Royersford, Pa./Spring-Ford) was the top Division II finisher in the long jump at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational held at the Armory.

Slack's mark of 17-2.75 (5.25) also came up just a half inch short of her season best.
Two other Golden Bears were the second best Division II finishers in the their events.
April Doyle (Greenfield Twp., PA/Lakeland) (Greenfield Township, Pa./Lakeland) threw the shot put 42-2.25 (12.86), just a half inch off of the top Division II competitor.
Kimberly Richardson (Morton, PA/Springfield) (Morton, Pa./Springfield) turned in a 9.25 in the 60-meter hurdles, which made her the second fastest among DII entries in the event.
Caleigh Coates (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin) (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) ran a team season best time of 1:01.61 in the 500-meter dash.
KU will continue action at the New Balance Invitational and will also compete at the DeSchriver Invitational at East Stroudsburg on February 4.
