Box Score KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Cynthia Johnson registered a game-high 25 points to lead Lincoln University to a 68-60 win over Kutztown in NCAA Division II non-conference women's basketball action Tuesday evening.

Ashley Wood (Limerick, PA/Spring-Ford) led KU with 15 points and five assists in 38 minutes of action. Junior
Alyssa Bonenberger (Walnutport, PA/Northampton Area) chipped in with 10 points and a team-leading eight assists. Junior
Avery Hodgson (Surf City, NJ/Southern Regional) was the only other Golden Bear to reach double figures going 5-of-8 shooting to add 10 points.
With the Lions leading the majority of the first half, a lay-up by the Golden Bears'
Aly York (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone) finally put KU in the lead 20-19 with 4:18 remaining on the clock. A free throw by
Natalya Lee (Feasterville, Pa./Rancocas Valley Regional) gave KU a 28-25 lead at the half.
The Lions trailed KU by as many as seven points early in the second half. A basket by Johnson would eventually tie the game before a lay up by Mfon Ekanem to put the Lions back in the lead, 46-44, with 9:20 remaining.
Even though the Golden Bears held the shooting advantage of 42 percent to LU's 35, and controlled 45 rebounds to the Lions' 38, eight turnovers late in the second half left KU unable to catch up.
Other top scorers for Lincoln were Denyse Moore and Tahlar McIntosh, who tallied 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Kutztown fell to 1-2 with the loss. The Golden Bears will return to action Saturday, December 1, when they travel to PSAC foe Gannon University for a 5:30 p.m. tip off.
