KUTZTOWN, Pa. (September 24, 2011) – The Kutztown University field hockey team dropped a 5-1 decision Saturday evening in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division game at University Field.

Kutztown (6-2 overall, 2-1 PSAC East) entered Saturday's match ranked sixth in the Kookaburra/ National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA).
Junior forward
Jenna Gregory (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg) scored the opening goal of the night for KU off a pass from
Imani Ferguson (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Lenape). Gregory leads the team with seven goals this season.
The Pioneers (5-2, 2-1), ranked ninth in the national poll, had an outstanding performance from forward Carlee Dragon. She scored four goals for C.W. Post on seven shots.
Kutztown will look to get back on track next week as it travels to Bloomsburg on Tuesday, Sept. 27 for a PSAC matchup beginning at 7 p.m.
