CLARION, Pa. — The Kutztown University men's basketball team dropped a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference crossover match 87-85 to Clarion on Sunday afternoon at Tippin Gym.
The Golden Bears (9-2) took an 85-84 lead on a foul shot with four seconds remaining, but Marcus Robinson rebounded a missed second foul shot, took it down court and banked in a 65-footer as time expired to give the Golden Eagles (8-2) the win.
KU led by as many as 12 points, but Clarion cut it to 43-42 at the break.
The teams flip-flopped the lead in the second half with KU taking the lead back with 11:33 remaining and holding it until the Robinson buzzer-beater.
