2009-10 season: Transferred to the Golden Bears for his junior season where he made an immediate impact in the 125 pound weight class. Sheetz was a PSAC Champion and placed fifth at Super Regionals. Overall, Sheetz had a record of 21-6, which included a 15-3 dual meet record. He finished with a team-high 14 pins and set the KU school record with a nine second fall against Millersville. Sheetz won by fall in eight consecutive matches during the regular season.
