2011:   Grosse started in nine games and was KU’s main hurler on the mound in his senior season.  The left-hander threw a team-high 49.1 innings and had 36 strikeouts.  Grosse had a 4-3 record as a starter and held a career-low 3.65 ERA. He threw a complete game against East Stroudsburg on Mar. 18 where he allowed just three hits in six innings while striking out three batters.  He struck out a season-high eight batters in his final start of the season in a 4-3 victory on Apr. 29 against Bloomsburg.

2010: Grosse had a 7-1 record and made a team-high 11 starts. In 61.2 innings pitched, he had 43 strikeouts and posted a 4.23 ERA. In his seven of his final eight starts, Grosse pitched at least five innings and did not allow more than three earned runs. In his only appearance in the NCAA Division II National Baseball Championship, Grosse pitched eight innings, struck out a career-high nine batters and allowed one run against Franklin Pierce.
