COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Kutztown field hockey freshman Anna Harris (Reston, Va./South Lakes) has been named the NFHCA Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career after making a significant impact against two nationally ranked opponents. Harris becomes the first KU field hockey player to earn a national honor this season, marking another milestone in an impressive start to her collegiate career.

Harris tallied points in both of the Golden Bears' games against ranked teams, helping the No. 2 Golden Bears secure wins over No. 7 Saint Anselm and No. 8 Assumption.

On Saturday, Harris scored the second goal in Kutztown's 2-1 victory over Saint Anselm. She followed that performance with a goal and an assist in Sunday's 6-0 shutout win over Assumption.

Harris has registered at least one point in every game this season and has started all of KU's contests in 2026. She is currently tied for third in the PSAC with three assists on the season.

The Maroon and Gold return to action Thursday, Sept. 17, at 5:30 p.m. when they host Shippensburg at Andre Reed Stadium.
