LEWISBURG, Pa. – The 4x100m relay team, consisting of Michael Fellin (Sheppton, Pa./Marian Catholic), Daron Haggans (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin), James Washburn (Shoreham, N.Y./Shoreham-Wading River) and Kymanni Johnson (Baltimore, Md./Overlea) raced to a new program record to highlight Kutztown men's outdoor track & field Sunday on day two and the final day of the Bison Outdoor Classic at Bucknell University in Lewisburg.
 
The relay ran to a 40.57 to finish second overall in the field of 19 teams. It is also an NCAA Provisional.
 
Kevin Givone (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) also recorded a Provisional and placed second in the javelin throw with a long mark of 63.81m (209-4).
 
A quintet of other Golden Bears earned Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifying standards on the day, all on the track. Both Jaydon Witman (Hamburg, Pa./Hamburg) and Owen Weaver (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) recorded PSAC times in the 110m hurdles, while both Fellin and Haggans got theirs in the 100m, with Fellin's 10.59, the third-fastest time in program history. Washburn netted a PSAC time in the 400m hurdles.
 
Kutztown has another busy weekend of competition next weekend as it will once again compete in two-day invites and have some student-athletes at the Paul Donahue Invitational hosted by Widener in Chester, and others at the Coach Pollard Invitational at Moravian University in Bethlehem.
