GRANTHAM, Pa. –
Dain Lenz (Earleville, Md./Bohemia Manor) was the lone Kutztown men's outdoor track & field member competing at the two-day Messiah Multi and Invitational in Grantham, and he made the most of it, winning the decathlon out of 18 competitors and eight events spanning Thursday and Friday.

Lenz finished with 4703 points and had a top-five finish in six out of the eight events. His best one was first in the 400m at 53.11. He was second in both the high jump (1.84m) and 110m hurdles (16.86), while placing third in the pole vault (3.55m) and long jump (6.20m).

The main contingent of Kutztown will be competing at the two-day Bison Outdoor Classic at Bucknell University starting tomorrow, Saturday, April 11, at 10:45 a.m.
