This will be the second time the Golden Bears make the 27-mile trip down I-78 to one of the largest Minor League Baseball venues in the nation, as it faced the then-25th-ranked Warriors in a doubleheader in 2024. Since then, KU collected one win across the past six meetings – a 4-3, eight-inning game at East Stroudsburg's Creekview Park. Kutztown will have its hands full this time around, as the Warriors come into the season atop the PSAC East Preseason Poll, while the Maroon and Gold sit seventh out of eight teams.
The Golden Bears begin its 2026 season with a four-game set at the USA Baseball National Training Complex beginning on Friday, Feb. 20, with a pair of games against PSAC-foe Slippery Rock at 1 and 3:30 p.m. It will have its first homestand against Lincoln on Wednesday, Feb. 4, with a doubleheader at 12:00 and 2:30 p.m.
