KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Michael Fellin (Sheppton, Pa./Marian Catholic) set a new program record in the 55m in his final home meet and Jake Kelly (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) earned two Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifying marks in two events to highlight Kutztown men's indoor track & field Friday evening at its annual Golden Bear Invitational inside O'Pake Fieldhouse.
 
Fellin ran a 6.33 in the preliminary round of the 55m and then ran it even faster in the final to win the event, with his 6.31 setting a new record. Kelly's 16.11m (52-10.25) in the shot put and his 16.01m (52-6.5) in the weight throw were both PSAC standards and won both events.
 
Three other Golden Bears won their respective events, including Steele Wrigley (Coatesville, Pa./Octorara) in the 400m, Brett Pevec (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus) in the 800m and Henry Cifaloglio (Vineland, N.J./Delsea Regional) in the pole vault.
 
Now Kutztown will set its sights on the postseason as it will compete in the two-day PSAC Indoor Championships at Lehigh University's Rauch Fieldhouse next Saturday and Sunday.
