KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Kutztown men's track & field will be well-represented this weekend at the 2025-26 NCAA Division II Indoor Championships at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach Va., as
Michael Fellin (Sheppton, Pa./Marian Catholic) and
Andrew Szeplaki (Bath, Pa./Northampton) will be competing at nationals.

It is the third consecutive year that the Golden Bears have representation at the national indoor meet.

Fellin will run in the 60-meter dash trials at 3:15 p.m. Friday. The 60-meter dash finals are set for 4:10 p.m. Saturday. He will be competing at nationals in the 60m for the second straight season, having earned All-America Second Team honors at last year's championships, placing 12th overall with a 6.72. He also enters NCAAs as the 12th seed out of 18 sprinters with a 6.69 that he ran at the PSAC Indoor Championships, winning gold.Â

Szeplaki is making his first appearance at nationals in the pole vault. The freshman is ranked fifth in the field of 18 vaulters with a seed mark of 5.30m (17-4.5), achieved at the Alvernia Winter Invitational back in mid-January. He was also a PSAC champion in the pole vault, clearing a best mark of 5.20m (17-0.75) to win gold. The pole vault is slated to take place Friday at 3:20 p.m.

Student-athletes qualified for the championships by reaching a provisional standard established for each event. For each individual event contested, the top 18 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition, the top 12 declared relay teams, one per institution, were accepted, and for the heptathlon and pentathlon the top 16 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition.

The top eight will earn First Team All-America recognition, while the next four finishers will receive second team honors.Â
