KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Junior sprinter
Michael Fellin (Sheppton, Pa./Marian Catholic) of the Kutztown University track & field team picked up his first career Academic All-America honor, Wednesday, when he was announced as a 2024-25 NCAA Division II Third Team selection by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

Fellin holds a 3.56 grade point average while pursuing a degree in criminal justice. He was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team back in late June.

The Sheppton, Pa., native topped the Atlantic Region in the indoor 60-meter dash during the 2024-25 season with a school and PSAC Indoor Championship meet record time of 6.65. Fellin placed 12th at the NCAA DII Indoor Championships for All-America Second Team honors. He also ranked 20th in the region in the indoor 200m and 32nd in the outdoor 100m.

Fellin is the 42nd Academic All-American in KU history dating back to 1993. The Golden Bears have had at least one Academic All-American in seven of the last eight years.
