BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Bieke Roovers (Leiden, Netherlands/Leonardo College) and
Isabela de Nadai (Vitoria, Brazil/St. Paul's School) secured singles wins for the Kutztown University women's tennis team but Moravian emerged with a 5-2 victory on its home courts Wednesday afternoon.

KU collected its first point in the match courtesy of de Nadai, who held off Sydney Shifman at third singles 6-3, 6-1. Roovers added a come-from-behind 5-7, 6-3, 10-3 win in a super tiebreaker at No. 2.
Despite falling behind 1-0 after doubles with Moravian winning 2-of-3,

Ximena Bolanos (Mineral de la Reforma, Mexico/Colegio Makarenko) claimed flight two by a 6-3 score over Nicole Kalorin and Ali Willis.
The Golden Bears will try to make up its home PSAC East match against Millersville, originally scheduled for last Saturday, weather permitting, on Thursday at 2 p.m.
