WILLIAMSBURG, Va. & MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Kutztown men's outdoor track & field team had a successful Saturday at two different competitions an NCAA Provisional, six Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifying marks and a top 10 program mark in the 4x4 relay.
 
Kevin Givone (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) recorded another NCAA Provisional in the javelin at Millersville, his second in back-to-back weeks. TJ White (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) and Kyle Archie (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) both netted qualifying marks in the high jump, while Trey Hamlin III (Townsend, Del./Caravel Academy) and Jacob Solonoski (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly) tallied PSAC standards in the long jump and shot put, respectively, all at Millersville.
 
At the Colonial Relays, Nate Schaeffer's (Mohrsville, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) best clearance of 4.48m (14-8.25) in the pole vault was a cut mark and the 4x4 relay team, consisting of Joe Cavalcante (Philadelphia, Pa./La Salle College H.S.), Daron Haggans (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin), Steele Wrigley (Coatesville, Pa./Octorara) and James Washburn (Shoreham, N.Y./Shoreham-Wading River) ran to a time of 3:15.66, which ranks fourth all-time in program history.
 
Kutztown will next compete in the three-day Bison Outdoor Classic at Bucknell University from Saturday, April 12-through-Monday, April 14.
