BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Josh McKoy (Reading, Pa./Berks Catholic), Trey Hamlin III (Townsend, Del./Caravel Academy) and Jake Kelly (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) had successful days in field events Friday under a sun kissed sky at the Coach Pollard Invitational at Moravian University. The trio tallied program top-10 marks to highlight the Kutztown men's outdoor track & field team.
 
McKoy finished second overall out of 23 competitors in the high jump with a best leap of 2.02m (6-7.50), which was a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Qualifying mark and is tied for 10th all-time at KU. Hamlin III also placed second in the triple jump at 14.18m (46-6.25), a PSAC mark and ninth-best in program lore. Not to be outdone, Kelly placed second in the shot put out of 26 competitors with a best throw of 15.63m (51-3.25), a PSAC standard and eighth all-time.
 
There were 10 other Golden Bears that earned PSAC marks in their respective events as James Washburn (Shoreham, N.Y./Shoreham-Wading River) and Sean Singleton (Reading, Pa./Governor Mifflin) in the 100m, Steele Wrigley (Coatesville, Pa./Octorara) in the 400m, Willie Wiles (Royersford, Pa./Spring-Ford) in the 3000m steeplechase, Kyle Archie (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) and TJ White (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) in the high jump, Gabe Sample (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) in the long jump, Jacob Solonoski (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly) in the hammer throw and Anthony Helmstetter (Middlesex, N.J./Middlesex) and Kevin Givone (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) in the javelin.
 
Kutztown concludes the regular season next weekend as groups will split and go to two different competitions. KU will be at the Penn Relays Thursday, April 24-through-Saturday, April 26, and will also be competing at the Paul Kiser Invitational at Shippensburg University that Saturday.
