LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Trey Hamlin III (Townsend, Del./Caravel Academy) captured a third-place finish in the long jump and
Robby Lloyd (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) ran the 10th-fastest 5000-meter time in program history as the Kutztown University men's track & field team took part in the Bison Outdoor Classic at Bucknell University on Saturday.
Hamlin III was Kutztown's top finisher on the day, setting a PSAC qualifying mark in the long jump with a best jump of 6.86m (22-6.25). His third-place showing came in a field of 42 athletes.

Jack Hollar (East Stroudsburg, Pa./Pocono Mountain East) crossed the finish line in tandem in the 5k but it was Lloyd grabbing a spot on the program's top 10 list with a 15:07.20 to place sixth overall out of 38 runners. Hollar claimed seventh with a 15:07.36 as KU's top two runners each achieved PSAC qualifying times.
The Golden Bears also got a PSAC cut time from
Adam Brocato (Reisterstown, Md./Calvert Hall) in the 1500m invite which featured the meet's top athletes. Brocato finished in 3:58.72.
It was a relatively light Saturday for the Maroon and Gold, but Sunday will be packed full of action with KU entering athletes in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 3000m, 110m hurdles, 400m hurdles, 4x100m relay, high jump invite, triple jump, hammer throw and javelin throw. Sunday's events begin at 10:30 a.m.
