LYNCHBURG, Va. – The 4x100 relay team of Michael Fellin (Sheppton, Pa./Marian Catholic), James Washburn (Shoreham, N.Y./Shoreham-Wading River), Steele Wrigley (Coatesville, Pa./Octorara) and Daron Haggans (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) raced to a new program record time as eight other members of Kutztown men's track & field set Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifying standards on the final day Saturday of the two-day Dr. Jack M. Toms Alumni Invitational at the University of Lynchburg.
 
The quartet entered this new 2025 season ranked third at KU in the relay with a time of 41.62, but finished in a new record of 40.68, breaking the program record time of 41.02 set in 2017.
 
Haggans, Wrigley and Washburn also earned PSAC times in the 100m, 200m and 400m hurdles, respectively. Haggans finished with a time of 10.66 in the 100m, which ranks sixth all-time in program lore.
 
Also on the track, Joe Cavalcante (Philadelphia, Pa./La Salle College H.S.) and Kyle Love (Lansdowne, Pa./Bonner-Prendergast) set qualifying times in the 400m and 400m hurdles, respectively.
 
In field events, TJ White (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) and Kyle Archie (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) had their best clearances in the high jump net PSAC marks and then Jacob Solonoski (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly) recorded a PSAC standard in the hammer throw.
 
Kutztown is back in action next weekend at two different two-day events. A group will compete at the Colonial Relays in Williamsburg, Va., and others will compete in the Millersville Metrics at Millersville University. Both competitions are Friday, April 4, and Saturday, April 5.
