Fellin earns All-America Second Team honors in the 60m with 12th-place finish at NCAA DII Indoor Championships

INDIANAPOLIS – Michael Fellin (Sheppton, Pa./Marian Catholic) became Kutztown University's first-ever All-American in the 60-meter dash when he claimed Second Team honors by placing 12th overall during Thursday's preliminary heats at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships.
 
Fellin, a junior from Sheppton, Pa., placed fifth in heat two of three with a time of 6.72. He recently set the school record with a 6.65 at the PSAC Indoor Championships. Fellin was making his first appearance at the national meet.
 
Second Team All-America honors went to finishers 9-12, while the eight sprinters advancing to Saturday's final will earn First Team accolades.
 
Fellin and his Golden Bear teammates will now prepare for the outdoor season, which begins March 28-29 in Lynchburg, Va., at the Dr. Jack M. Toms Alumni Invitational.
