NEW ORLEANS – Kutztown University women's cross country earned its ninth straight All-Academic Team award from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) while claiming five All-Academic Athletes, the organization recently announced.

The Golden Bears have appeared on every USTFCCCA All-Academic Team list since 2015 (no award in 2020) and 25-of-26 dating back to 1998.

To qualify for All-Academic Team honors, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and compile a team score at their respective regional championship meet.

Under head coach
Ray Hoffman, Kutztown earned a fourth-place finish at the 2024 PSAC Championships and went on to take seventh at the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Championships.

Individuals recognized as All-Academic Athletes included graduate student
Jaelyn D'Amelio (Manahawkin, N.J./Southern Regional), junior
Mackey Donovan (Blauvelt, N.Y./Tappan Zee), sophomore
Sage Dunkleberger (Watsontown, Pa./Warrior Run), senior
Sophia Knerr (Columbia, N.J./North Warren Regional) and sophomore
Maura Lenhart (Center Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh). D'Amelio is a four-time award recipient, while Knerr was honored for the third time.

All-Academic Athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top 30 percent of their respective regional championship meet.
