PREVIEW | Third-ranked Kutztown meets Bentley in NCAA DII Championship First Round game

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – One week after securing its third consecutive Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championship, No. 3 Kutztown football enters the NCAA Division II Championship Tournament as the top seed in Super Region I for the second straight season and will welcome Northeast 10 Conference champion Bentley in a first round game at Andre Reed Stadium this Saturday at noon.

The Golden Bears, which improved to 11-0 on the season after their 28-23 victory over IUP in the PSAC title game last Saturday, will meet Bentley (7-3) for the first time ever. The Falcons received the automatic qualifying berth from the NE10 after defeating Assumption, 20-17, for the league title back on Nov. 8.

Kutztown extended its Division II-best active regular season winning streak to 31 games and is making its eighth national tournament appearance all-time and fifth in the last six seasons. KU is the top seed in SR1 for the fourth time in program history (2010, 2021, 2024, 2025).

Tickets information is linked at the top. It is $30 for covered reserved, $20 for reserved, $10 for general admission and KU alumni, $5 for non-KU students and senior citizens (65 and older).
