KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Kutztown wide receiver
Noah Kracyla (Townsend, Del./Middletown) had a career game with 12 catches for 209 yards and three touchdowns. With his performance, Kracyla was this week's choice for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference's Eastern Division Athlete of the Week.
The No. 3 Golden Bears rallied from two scores down in the final 6:32 to force overtime before falling to No. 24 East Stroudsburg, 32-25, Saturday.
Kracyla opened the scoring for KU midway through the first quarter, hauling in a 17-yard TD pass from
Judd Novak (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) to put the visitors up 7-0.
With the Golden Bears trailing 22-10 and less than seven minutes remaining, Kracyla caught a slant and raced 68 yards for his second TD of the afternoon. He then capped an 8-play, 88-yard drive with a 19-yard TD reception on 4th-and-5 to pull KU within 25-23. The Bears converted the 2-point conversion to force overtime.
Kracyla set new career-highs in single-game receptions, receiving yards and receiving TDs. His 209 receiving yards were the fifth-most in a game in program history and marked KU's first 200-yard receiving game since Kurtis Ravenel Jr. had 217 at Assumption, Sept. 2, 2023.
Kutztown returns home for the final home regular season game of the 2026 season this Saturday, Nov. 7, at noon, when it hosts Bloomsburg on senior day.
