BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Kyle Love (Lansdowne, Pa./Bonner-Prendergast) set a new program record in the 60m hurdles and both Michael Fellin (Sheppton, Pa./Marian Catholic) and Daron Haggans (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) etched their names into the top-five in the record books to highlight Kutztown men's track & field on the second and final day Saturday at the Lehigh Fast Times Before Finals at Rauch Fieldhouse on the campus of Lehigh University.
 
It was the season-opening meet for the Golden Bears indoor team.
 
Love broke a seven-year record by 0.02 with an 8.24 to win the 60m hurdles final. Love reached second all-time in the 60m at 6.82 and Haggans earned fifth all-time in the same event at 6.94, as the duo finished first and third, respectively.
 
Gabe Sample (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg), Kyle Archie (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg), Nate Schaeffer (Mohrsville, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) and James Washburn (Shoreham, N.Y./Shoreham-Wading River) joined Love, Fellin and Haggans as competitors who earned Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifying marks in their events. Owen Weaver (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) placed fourth overall in the heptathlon out of 10 competitors.
 
Kutztown has the rest of the calendar year off and will next be back out on the track at the Alvernia Winter Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 18.
