KUTZTOWN, Pa. -- Kutztown University's Madison Brenneman (York, Pa./Central York) was selected as East Coast Conference (ECC) Freshman Bowler of the Week for the first time in her career, the league office announced Thursday afternoon.

Brenneman, from York, Pa., supplied an 18.74 frame average and 80.4% fill percentage as the Golden Bears went 6-4 and placed 11th at last weekend's Griffin Baker Classic.

Brenneman's frame average and fill percentage were both second-best on the team for the tournament. She also ranked second on the team in strikes (43) and third in spares (39) while completing 100 frames.

On the season, Brenneman owns a 17.13 Baker frame average and 73.8% fill percentage over 272 frames.

Kutztown returns to action Feb. 17-19, at the Wildcat DII/DIII Invitational in New Castle, Del.
