KUTZTOWN, Pa. -- Kutztown University athletics needs the support of all Golden Bears when it participates in KU's fourth annual 1866 Minute Giving Challenge Wednesday, Oct. 25, and Thursday, Oct. 26.

Introduced in 2019, the 1866 Minute Giving Challenge promoted a new twist on annual giving days, linking the university's founding year to the challenge.

Participation is key to the event's success. Every contribution is important, no matter the amount. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, family and friends are encouraged to take part in showing the strength of a Golden Bear.

Any gift received on the giving platform, by phone, made in person or received in the mail Oct. 25-26 counts towards the 1866 Minute Giving Challenge!

Making a gift on the fundraising page is easy. Gifts can be made through PayPal, Venmo, credit card, and other digital payment options. Anyone who makes a gift of $75 or more will receive KU-branded belt bag.

This year's 1866 Minute Giving Challenge begins 7 a.m., Oct. 25, concludes 2:06 p.m., Oct. 26.
