BLOOMSBURG, Pa. -- The Kutztown University women's rugby team held on late to win its season opening game, 26-22 at Bloomsburg University on Saturday.

The Golden Bears were led by two tries from Gabrielle Quigg (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee) and one each by Jenna Wilson (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West) and Emily Duff (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn). Quigg also had three conversions for KU.

Kutztown has its first home match of the 2022-23 season when it hosts St. Joseph's University on Saturday, Oct. 1, at 11 a.m.
