PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- The Kutztown University women's tennis team was unable to get a win in any part of its lineup as it was downed by Jefferson University 7-0 on Saturday afternoon in a non-conference matchup.
Sarah Lazarchak (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) and
Jessika Klo (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom) at No. 3 doubles won three games, those most of any of the three doubles matchups for KU.
Ava Lewis (Camp Hill, Pa./East Pennsboro),
Jess Marks (Allentown, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic),
Brianna Wendling (Kutztown, Pa./Kutztown) and Klo all took a game in each of their respective singles lineups.
Kutztown has one more final weekend of matches before Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Individual Championships from Oct. 1-3. KU takes on Mary Baldwin next Friday, Sept. 23, and then hosts Frostburg State the following day at Keystone Courts.
