Kutztown gets back in win column at Mary Baldwin

STAUNTON, Va. -- The Kutztown University women's tennis team evened its season record and snapped a two-match slide with a 7-2 road victory at Mary Baldwin Friday afternoon.

Jessika Klo (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom), Sarah Lazarchak (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) and Jess Marks (Allentown, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic) were victorious in both singles and doubles as the Maroon and Gold won 5-of-6 singles matches and 2-of-3 in doubles.

A pair of 8-1 doubles triumphs sent KU on its way. Lazarchak and Klo won convincingly at No. 3, while Ava Lewis (Camp Hill, Pa./East Pennsboro) and Marks knocked off the Fighting Squirrels' top tandem of Hannah Eastridge and Virani Bhagat.
