KUTZTOWN, Pa. -- The Kutztown University men's tennis team cruised to its third straight victory, 9-0, over NCAA Division III Penn State Berks in non-conference action Wednesday afternoon at the Keystone Courts.

Playing under DIII scoring rules, the Golden Bears jumped out to a 3-0 lead after doubles.

Kutztown (5-5) completed the doubles sweep with an 8-3 win from Ethan Moyer (Wernersville, Pa./Conrad Weiser) and Kurt Abell (Sinking Spring, Pa./Conrad Weiser) against Cole Epting and Daniel Popovici at No. 3.

Singles was also controlled by the Maroon and Gold.

No. 1 Barcelo, No. 2 Devkaran, No. 3 Arizpe and No. 6 Abell were all 6-0, 6-0 winners over their respective Nittany Lion opponents. Moyer ceded just one game in a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 5 and Gincauskas two in a 6-2, 6-0 triumph at No. 4.

Wednesday's victory ensures Kutztown will have the opportunity to finish the season with a winning record if it can defeat Davis & Elkins at 2 p.m. Saturday in its finale at the Keystone Courts.
