KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- For the second time in her illustrious college career, Kutztown University women's soccer player
Kayla Argen (Cresco, Pa./Pocono Mountain East) was named an All-American by United Soccer Coaches Thursday afternoon.
Argen was named to the Third Team following a spectacular 2022 campaign where she set a career-high in points (26) and led the Golden Bears in goals (8) and assists (10). She was named to the All-Atlantic Region First Team earlier in the week. She also earned an All-Region nod from the Division Two Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA), along with an All-Pennslyvania State Atletic Conference (PSAC) First Team spot.
Argen was named an All-American by both United Soccer Coaches and the D2CCA in 2021. She becomes only the second Golden Bear ever to earn three or more All-American nods in her career, joining Maddie Mohr who won four awards from 2016 to 2018.
