The Kutztown University women's rugby team played for the Mid Atlantic Rugby Conference championship on Saturday, Nov. 6, but fell on the road at Temple University 29-12. KU earned second place in the conference in its first year back competing since 2019.

KU tries were scored by senior Megan Babinsky (Barnesville, Pa./Mahanoy Area) and Claudia Makarski with one conversion by senior Maddy Forster (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone). 

The Golden Bears will still be competing in postseason play and will compete at the Coast Guard Academy. A victory would advance them to the following weekend.
