KUTZTOWN, Pa. -- The Golden Bear Athletic Club will hold a virtual 5k Friday, June 12, through Sunday, June 14, in support of Kutztown University Athletics.
Effects from coronavirus pandemic shutdowns have been felt far and wide. The Kutztown University Foundation (KUF), which oversees the Golden Bear Athletic Club, collaborated with KU Athletics to introduce June's event as a fun and interactive way to engage in physical activity and show support for Golden Bear student-athletes and teams.

#GBAC5K.
Whether you're on a treadmill, jogging your neighborhood, walking around the block or cruising your favorite trail, the GBAC Virtual 5K is the best way to support KU Athletics right now.

All of our Golden Bear cubs
(12 years old and younger) can also participate with an additional gift of $5.00, or $5.00 added on to the adult Golden Bear participation gift ($30.00 total).

The Top 3 individual finishers who share their results using #GBAC5K will be eligible to win a KU swag bag!
SUPPORTING GOLDEN BEAR ATHLETICS
All funds raised from the GBAC Virtual 5K will benefit KU student-athletes and teams in the form of KU Athletics' greatest needs. This could be student-athlete scholarships, relieving unexpected expenses due to schedule changes, upgrades of team equipment and uniforms, offsetting team travel, enabling facility improvements and so much more.
