Sara Keeny (Warminster, Pa./William Tennent) and men's basketball player
Anthony Lee (Willow Grove, Pa./Abington) were honored as the 2019 Senior Athletes of the Year on Wednesday night at KU's annual All-Sports Celebration, held at Schaeffer Auditorium.

Keeny is the first member of KU softball to garner the award since 2009 and is the fifth player in program history to do so in the 27-year history of the award. Lee makes it back-to-back winners for the men's basketball team as
Ethan Ridgeway (West Chester, Pa./Bayard Rustin) garnered the recognition last season. Lee is the sixth player in program history to receive the honor.

Keeny is a three-time All-Region and All-PSAC selection and is batting a school-record .512 this season. She leads the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) in several offensive categories, including average (.512), runs scored (54), hits (85) and triples (7).

Keeny was the 2016 KU and PSAC Freshman of the Year. She has 274 career hits, a school-record. She won a Chambliss Copper Medal this spring.

Lee holds almost double-digit program records, nine total. He is a two-time All-Region and four-time All-PSAC player.

The Abington native earned Honorable Mention All-America honors in his senior season. He scored 2,292 career points for fourth in PSAC history. He holds nine school records including the programs first and only 50-point game. Lee was voted this year's PSAC Athlete of the Year and won a Chambliss Silver Medal this spring.
